On Friday, Oct. 11, the Jefferson varsity field hockey team won against the Lee High School Lancers with an ending score of 5-3. Along with the victory, the team also celebrated Senior Night, recognizing their 14 seniors.

Upon entering the stadium, all are welcomed by a message to the Senior Night game against Lee. To the side, the underclassmen from both varsity and junior varsity (JV) brightened the sidewalk by beautifully writing all of the seniors’ names and decorating them. “We [underclassmen] spent a lot of time preparing for Senior Night this year, because there were 14 seniors this year on the time, including our two managers. The whole team, even freshmen and sophomores on JV, helped us which gave us more opportunities to bond,” junior Arisa Chue said.
