The TJ Minds Matter club hosted the Stress less, Laugh More spirit week from April 29 to May 3 to encourage students to relax through many fun events ranging from yogurt parfaits during lunch to drawing on the sidewalk using chalk. Monday, April 29, featured a Jazz Band performance before school and a pajama day spirit day. Tuesday was all about tie dye with a special free-parfaits-during-lunch event. Workout Wednesday was a day dedicated to athletes and Thoughtful Thursday involved the sharing of a bag of candy. Friday was a day for Jefferson students to dress their best and make chalk art on the sidewalk.
Freshman Varshini Subramanian talks with Freshman Catherine Pak about what they thought of Stress Less, Laugh More Week. "It could have been implemented better." Varshini said. "I think more people knew about the event as the week progressed, but it would have been more fun if there were more people."
