Expressing themselves through dance, several Jefferson students let go of their stress during a special Bollywood dance class held during eighth period in Gym 1 on Wed., March 20.

Sophomore Sahiti Rachakonda shares her passion for the art that brings happiness to her life. "[Jefferson's school psychologist] Ms. Armstrong runs a mental health and wellness committee, and she does one thing [for that] every month," Rachakonda said. "Like, this month [the theme was] 'move to happiness,' so she asked us to set up the Bollywood workshop for people. I like to share [dance] with other people- it means the whole world to me. Outside of school, it's basically my entire life... [dance is] very freeing."
