Today was the first day of my Wallops Island field trip for my AP Biology class. Riding in the bus for three and a half hours to the island felt relaxing yet extremely tiresome. After we arrived, we went to our dorms, had dinner, and attended a lecture where a guide taught us about coastal ecology and preparing for our boat trip tomorrow afternoon. Overall, it was a quite uneventful day, but I’m looking forward to see what happens tomorrow.
